Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all agreements with Tentix are subject to these general terms and conditions. Specific terms included in a quotation take precedence over these general conditions. Any terms proposed by the customer are explicitly rejected, even if Tentix has signed a document provided by the customer.
An order is only finalized once the customer signs the quotation or pays the deposit, thereby accepting the general terms and conditions. Quotations from Tentix are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
If a customer places an order on behalf of a third party, both the customer and the third party are jointly and severally liable for the obligations arising from the order, even if the invoice is addressed to the third party at the customer’s request.
The price listed in the quotation excludes VAT and includes only the clearly defined goods and services. Additional work or goods requested after signing the quotation will be charged separately at €45/hour (excl. VAT) or another agreed rate.
For rentals, 50% of the quoted price is due when placing the order. The remaining amount will be invoiced 10 days before the event and must be paid by that date.
For rentals, the rented goods remain the property of Tentix. However, from the moment of delivery, the customer is responsible for loss or damage, regardless of the cause, including force majeure.
If Tentix handles assembly, the customer must ensure all necessary permits are arranged and be present to indicate the location and address any site-related questions. The customer must inform Tentix in advance of any obstacles, such as underground utilities or challenging terrain.
The site must be clean, level, and accessible. Delays caused by unsuitable site conditions will be charged at €45/hour (excl. VAT) or the agreed rate. If assembly cannot proceed due to unsuitable terrain or missing permits, the customer remains liable for the full price.
If the customer or their representative is not present at delivery, a waiting period of up to four hours will apply, charged at €45/hour (excl. VAT). After four hours, Tentix reserves the right to return the goods to storage without compensation to the customer.
The customer is responsible for damage to rented or purchased goods unless the damage results from gross negligence or willful misconduct by Tentix or its employees. Tentix is not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profit. Maximum liability is limited to the total value of the agreement.
Invoices must be paid in full before the event. Late payments automatically incur interest and a penalty without prior notice. Tentix reserves the right to suspend the agreement in case of non-payment.
Invoices are deemed accepted if not disputed within 15 days of receipt.
The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report any complaints in writing within eight days. Complaints about assembly must be reported immediately to the installers and confirmed in writing.
The customer may cancel the rental agreement under the following conditions:
Tentix reserves the right to request a deposit of up to twice the total rental price.
In cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, or government intervention, Tentix may suspend its obligations or terminate the agreement without being liable for compensation.
If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid one that closely reflects the original intent.
All agreements with Tentix are governed by Belgian law. In the event of disputes, only the courts in the jurisdiction of Tentix’s registered office are competent.
